All Play & No Work

February went by pretty fast for me.
I flew out to New York for the first two weeks of February.
Did all the essential stuff, caught up with friends, went into the city, the family super bowl thing, and I even caught some snow.
Of course like every year the things I promise myself I am going to do there, I didn't do.

I drank way too much out there and at some point caught a virus.
I had a good time and doing so much all in a tiny space of time made things seem slower somehow.
Flying back was equally humorous being stuck with a cold, on a plane, on Valentines Day.

The other half of the month I made an effort to concentrate on writing and further studying on guitar crafting.
(Still have not started that guitar)
I probably could buy all the necessary tools and just try to put it together without knowing every single detail.
But like that first time playing a guitar there is that fear that it won't come out right.
So maybe a just do it attitude should be applied here.

Took two weeks off from Yoga to beat out the cold.
Noticed that I was pretty cramped up when I started again.
Now I'm pretty much back to normal.

My uncle with pneumonia was released and is now back into his old routine too.
I also investigated a car that might have been a good deal had it not been a total wreck when I finally saw it.
Oh well...

I am definitely falling behind on work, yeah I'm writing and I'm studying the luthier's manual but I'm behind the schedule.
I wanted to get a first draft of this novel done by April and most likely that will not happen.
And the guitar again, I could probably just do it but I'd like to read the book completely before deciding on the approach.

Not sure how fast March will go but its going to be a work only month for me.
Don't want my writing to catch up with me.
